Walking in circles with Demon Babies

Today we toured Melbourne's famous Lanes and Arcades. "Lanes" refers to the small lanes located throughout Melbourne's city grid and "Arcades" are a collection of shops, cafes and lounges. Melbourne is full of cafes and chocolates. Picture a Starbucks and a See's Candies every few feet and you have Melbourne. The shop windows are pure torture to anyone watching their weight. Filled with countless sweets and treats. Tour highlighted the architecture in Melbourne as well as up and coming fashion designers. Surprisingly we found that colors and patterns do exist here. Locals probably ask "does this come in black?". We pretty much walked away empty handed, to be fashionable here is very expensive and we still have three more stops on our journey. After the tour ended and we recharged with lunch we retraced our steps to visit some of the shops we wanted to spend more time in. From there we took Gram on a trip to Rod Laver Arena. What a beautiful tennis facility! Trish couldn't stop smiling. We were actually able to get on one of the courts and had it all to ourselves. It was magic.

Melbourne has a huge art festival going on right now. Yesterday these demon babies popped up clustered together downtown and while we were sleeping...they moved. Most of them are perched near the city's gothic cathedrals. Which is appropriate.

Long day tomorrow on the Great Ocean Road, i.e. bus ride for 11.5 hours. Sore bottoms from bike ride are looking forward to the rest. Fingers crossed...no car sickness.

Love, T&J

Mandy's Quote of the day because there are no new accidents to report:
In regards to our awful bathroom. "This is the stupidest bathroom in America."

P.S. We have no phone service and our internet sucks!! Feeling a little disconnected from our world.
